LEXFEEL SHINE

LEXFEEL SHINE imparts shine and gloss to lipstick, lip gloss, other color cosmetics, and hair styling products such as hair gloss, hair gel, and hair spray, due to its high Refractive Index (RI), which can reduce the whitening effect of antiperspirants and inorganic sunscreens. LEXFEEL SHINE can replace other high RI materials, such as Phenyl Trimethicone, in many cosmetic formulations. As LEXFEEL SHINE is a polar ester, it may require a co-solvent to incorporate it into a non-polar oil or silicone phase, with a light polyol ester, such as LexFeel®7, serving as an ideal coupling agent for this purpose.
