ALPHA OLEFIN C2024

ALPHA OLEFIN C2024 is a clear water-white, mobile liquid above its melting point produced by INEOS Oligomers using a modified Ziegler ethylene chain growth technology. ALPHA OLEFIN C2024 undergoes all reactions typical of alpha olefins and can be used in the production of oxo alcohols, alkylated aromatics, alpha olefin sulfonates, epoxides, tanning oils and synthetic fatty acids. ALPHA OLEFIN C2024 has a density of 0.805 g/mL and pour point of -20°C, making it suitable for applications requiring a non-corrosive, non-volatile liquid. Its low pour point and flash point of 180°C and 180°F respectively also make it safe for use. ALPHA OLEFIN C2024 can be used to formulate products that require a clear, odorless liquid base with good spreading properties. Its low viscosity and volatility allow for easy blending and application.
