DESMOPHEN C 1200

DESMOPHEN C 1200 is a high-grade linear aliphatic polycarbonate polyester building block that is solvent-free and medium-viscosity liquid. It has a hydroxyl content of 1.7% and viscosity of 16,500 mPa.s at 23°C. DESMOPHEN C 1200 is compatible with many polyurethane systems and provides very good weatherability, lightfastness, hydrolytic stability and elasticity when used in combination with polyisocyanates. These properties make DESMOPHEN C 1200 well-suited for applications that require durability against environmental conditions like exterior coatings and sealants. It can be reduced with common solvents and provides formulation flexibility for various coating and sealant applications in construction industry that demands protection from weathering.
